on Pan-Africanism…

wakeupblackpower:

Here’s a fun fact, at some point in time we as a Black Peoples in America attempted to create a Black Nation, governed by only Black People with our own laws, our own rights and the remaining shadow of oppression to be elsewhere…can you guess who shut that shit down?

Pan-Africanism “… is a movement that seeks to unify African people or people living in Africa, into a “one African community”. Differing types of Pan-Africanism seek different levels of economic, racial, social, or political unity. The largest governmental body striving for governmental unity is the African Union.

Both “Edward Wilmot Blyden has been called the Father of Pan-Africanism. & W. E. B. Du Bois has also been called the Father of Pan-Africanism. Du Bois hosted the highly influential 5th Pan-African Conference in Manchester, UK.”

Sun Ra is a great genius of philosophy and the theory of Afrocentricity. He believed that he came from Mars because on Mars as peoples we would have our own history, our own definition as a peoples. This is something I can follow, because in a country where oppression is subtely hidden but still existent-we are not truly free nor equal, point is, Why are we still having issues?
